Blaze of Glory by Mandy M. Roth

Purchase Blaze of Glory HERE

4 STARS!
Well hell, I purchased this little nugget of yumminess awhile back and somehow lost it in my massive TBR pile. After being given another copy to review by the author, I loaded this baby on my kindle and got to reading, and I'm so glad that I did! Blaze of Glory is set in the future, most of the world has been decimated and what's left is divided up into territories that resemble the old west.

Jonathan MacSweeny is the sheriff of Prospect Springs and a shifter. He is in love with Molly. She's returning to Prospect Springs after being gone for ten years. Her father has decided to arrange for her to marry some skeevy bigwig in town. When Jon hears about it, he's having none of it. Molly is his and he will do whatever it takes to finally claim her. As he rides hellbent for leather into town to save her, little does he know, that the girl he remembers as his childhood sweetheart has changed. Molly is a foul mouthed, sharpshooting badass that can hold her own. Molly returned to Prospect Spring to save her friend who thought she could save Molly from the outlaws who have a bounty on her by posing as her. When she gets to town right after her friend all hell breaks loose. After a shootout with the outlaws and seeing Jon riddled with bullet holes, Molly realizes that she can't live without him. Her stubbornness and his possessiveness makes for some hilarious dialogue!

Blaze of Glory was a snarky, smexiliciously quick read that I devoured in no time. Despite being short in length it in no way detracted from the story, and with plenty of yummy MacSweeny boys left, I can't wait to dive into the next book!

*I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
