OMG! Just OH. MY. GAWD.....

Revenant... Revenant.... REVENANT! Okay, I will admit to squeeling like a teenage girl at a boy band concert when I saw this pop up for request on Netgalley. I love and I mean LOVE Larissa Ione's Demonica series and I love, love, LOVE bad boys. Revenant is the absolute alpha of all bad boys, he is arrogant, emotionally tortured, and panty meltingly schmexy with a capital S, you know, basically the perfect trifecta of bad boyness. *fist pump* Yess.....

*I encourage you to make sure that you read Reaver prior to diving into this book, there are several things in it that tie in and lead into Revenant's story.

Revenant is a 5000 year old fallen angel (or so he thought). He has worked his way up the ranks in Hell to be Satan's right hand man and new evil watcher for the Horseman. He hates working for Satan but has no way of escaping his fate, or so he thinks... Several things have happened lately, he found out that he has a twin brother, he's not a fallen angel and he's been upgraded in strength and power to that of a Shadow Angel. There is no one more powerful than him in Hell besides Satan or Lucifer, In Heaven his angelic (Radiant) counterpart happens to be his brother who is ordered to keep him in check. Revenant is understandably bitter, he doesn't understand why his brother was sent to heaven by their mother as a baby while he was forced to remain in Hell with her enduring thousands of years of torture.

Blaspheme has been masquerading as a False Angel for her own safety. She is the daughter of an Angel and Fallen Angel and the children of this type of union are considered abominations and hunted down and killed. The spell hiding her true identity is failing and she is on a deadline to find another way to conceal herself from the hunters after her and her mother. I love Blaspheme! She is sassy and absolutely holds her own with Revenant. I loved seeing their relationship blossom, both pulled together by an intense attraction and both fighting to understand their feelings for each other. The chemistry and love scenes between Revenant and Blaspheme made for some major face fanning.

This book was a wild ride of emotions from start to finish, I was laughing one minute and then crying the next, irritated and then charmed. Fantastic wrap up to an electrifying series!

*I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
