4 STARS!
Derek Wescott is a prince of Hell and his minions have decided to help him out by setting him up with someone through an online dating site. Derek is not a happy camper about this but agrees to go on the date to win a bet with his minions.

Jaclyn is content with her life, she has her dog Rufus and her non profit daycare for the homeless. But with some prompting from her BFF Trish she agrees to go out on a date with Derek. When they meet up at a local coffee shop Jaclyn takes one look at Derek and promptly changes her mind. He is waaay out of her league and she doesn't trust good looking guys. Derek is motivated by the bet and a bit intrigued by her refusal to immediately fall into his arms like most women do. Derek learns about the Jaclyn's foundation and offers up a bet of his own. If she can resist falling into bed with him, he will donate $10,000 to her daycare. Jaclyn desperately needs the money, they are in danger of closing their doors without it. Someone is stealing money from the daycare and when Derek's mom finds out that he is dating Jaclyn she orders Derek to shut her down.

I have to say I was intrigued with the different levels of Hell in this world. Derek rules the 8th level of Hell and in it he is responsible for punishing corporations and businesses that are cheating, lying, stealing, etc. Derek wants to move up and take over the 9th level where he will be in charge of the more heinous criminals, like murderers and rapists, but his mother (who is his boss) doesn't feel that he is creative enough in his punishments in the 8th level for a promotion. There were lots of twists and turns, especially after Derek's sister comes in the picture, and a surprising twist that I didn't expect involving another member of his family.

I really enjoyed All Bets Are On and will definitely be checking out the authors other books!
