This is a sexy little quickie. Coyle is 700 year old immortal sorcerer. When he first meets Deri he is instantly drawn to her. But he believes that she is only a human and because of that she cannot be his true soulmate and Druids can only mate with other magical beings. Deri is on the run from a stalker ex. Forced into giving up her magik or face imprisonment for the rest of her life she ends up in the town of Grove Bluff looking for a place to hide.
The sparks fly when these two meet and I have to say I really wished it was longer. The showdown with the ex was rushed but overall this was a nice steamy read. I will definitely be checking out the next book in the series because who doesn't love smexy tattooed Druids?
