Rock Addiction by Nalini Singh

5 Stars!!!

Fox wants Molly. It's an instant lust when he sees her at a party thrown by Molly's sister, who just happens to be his band's publicist. Molly wants Fox too but doesn't believe that this hawt, rockstar god would ever be interested in a shy and reserved librarian. And even if by some crazy twist of fate he did want her there was no way she would follow through on her attraction. Molly has scars, deep emotional scars from a family tragedy/scandal that she was a victim of when she was 15 years old. She doesn't plan on being the center of attention like that ever again, and being with Fox means being right back in the limelight.

Fox takes one look at Molly and knows that she's his. Fox has issues himself but he doesn't plan on letting anything get in his way of making Molly his forever. Yumm...

This is different from Nalini's other books, it's a lot more grittier, naughtier and sexier. Yes, there is A LOT of sex, but lets face facts, Fox is a famous rock star, its gonna happen. He likes to talk dirty, he likes to have sex, he's possessive, he has a temper. Hmm... sounds like typical alpha material to me.

I will admit that I peeked at some of the early reviews coming out on Goodreads before I started reading Rock Addiction and I have to say that I don't get why some people are getting so bent out of shape. This book is nothing like her PNR series (which I adore) it's NA, not my usual genre to read but I still loved it. I loved how Fox was determined to work through Molly's fears and insecurities. Yes, Molly had flaws but in no way did I ever feel that she was a TSTL heroine, my heart hurt for the things that she went through at such a vulnerable age. Fox surprised me, for being a bad ass rock star he was committed to Molly from the moment he first saw her. He helped her work through her fears and Molly blossomed from it, and in return Molly's love healed Fox's scars.

This was an engaging, heartbreaking, yet still heartwarming, smexilicious new series that I can't wait to read more of.

* I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
