Our heroine Maggie is a witch and had broken up with the love of her life the year before because of a vision she had. In it she believed that if she stayed with her uber hot tattoo artist boyfriend Evan, she would be responsible for ruining his life.
Well unfortunately for Maggie she has misinterpreted her vision and the universe is set on punishing her for it. After her life falls apart Maggie finds herself jobless and living with her sister. Things are starting to look up for her when she lands a job at a local tattoo and art gallery, but what she doesn't know is that Evan is co-owner of the gallery and now her boss!
Evan can't believe that Maggie is back in his life. As they spend time together at work they both quickly realize that they still love each other. However Evan doesn't know if he can risk his heart (and understandably so) on Maggie again.
loved this story! I can't believe how fast I blew through it. It was a sweet, sexy and fun story and I look forward to reading more books by A.D. Marrow in the future. Which on that note, I hope Liam's story will be told soon. *hint hint* :D So if you are looking for a quick, feel good read that ends with you happily sighing, then I highly recommend Love and Other Cosmic Nonsense.
