He is in love with Harmony and finally realizes what she is to him, his mate. When Harmony is abducted he feels like he has failed in his duty to keep her safe and is determined to rescue her. Harmony has secrets of her own, she is not completely human either, she's a witch but something has been preventing her from using her magic while being held captive.

Broken Communication was a quick, intense read with Mandy's trademark smexiness thrown in. I'm ashamed to say that I have yet to read her Immortal Ops series but after this it has been moved to the top of my tbr list. I can't wait to see what comes next in the series!
