Under His Protection is book 9 in the Red Stone Security series, and although I haven't read the previous books I had no problem following along.
Julieta has a stalker. She has been getting explicit texts from random numbers and someone is vandalizing her lingerie store. Ivan is a former Texas Ranger and now works at Red Stone Security. He has been lusting after Julieta since he first met her and although the feeling is mutual, Julieta has no intention of acting on her desires. Ivan is known as a playboy and after her last broken heart she doesn't trust his intentions. Ivan finds out about the threatening texts and is determined to protect Julieta.
This was a great read! It was action packed, and kept me engaged from page one. I love how protective Ivan was. Being a former Ranger he was a total alpha, protective, yet sweet. Julieta was independent and brave, no TSTL heroine here. If you are looking for a fast paced, romantic suspense, then grab this book!
