Love Thy Enemy by Katie Reus

Blurb:

 She refuses to trust him.

Red Stone Security employee Dominique Castle knows all too well that there are people in this world she just can't trust. After losing both her parents, Dominique keeps her distance from anyone tied to her past—especially the man she's hated for years. And Viktor Ivanov isn't going to change her mind about who he really is—no matter how determined the infuriatingly sexy Russian is.

He's determined to win her over.

She may hate him and not trust him, but Viktor is determined to crack through Dominique's icy exterior one way or another—even if it means taking the game into his own hands. With a past like Viktor's, he's made more than a few enemies along the way—enemies who'll stop at nothing to take him down. When Viktor realizes Dominique's life is in danger because of him, he’ll stop at nothing to protect her—whether she likes it or not. Now it's up to Dominique to trust the one man who's linked to the agony of her past. Can she find a way to love the enemy she always loathed?

My Review - 5 Stars!!

You know, every time I get my hands on a new Red Stone Security book I think that there is no way that it is going to top the last one and what do you know? It totally does! I absolutely adored Viktor! I loved that even though he was raised with a mobster father he didn't want that lifestyle for himself. He may be a ruthless businessman but he stays on the up and up.... for the most part. He sees Dominique at an event and was instantly attracted to her. He wants to meet her but is shocked to see that she seems to have a grudge against him even though they've never met. After some digging, Viktor finds out that his father is responsible for the death of her parents and is horrified. He wants to make amends to her.

Dominique lost her home and her parents at a young age and even though the man responsible is dead she believes his son is cut from the same cloth and wants nothing to do with him. She can't understand why he is going out of his way to try to return her beloved childhood home to her with no strings attached. She doesn't trust him but the more time that they spend together the more she realizes that he is nothing like his father.

We get another dual story here with Viktor/Dominique and (Viktor's brother) Abram/Lucy which is awesome. I love the intensity that Katie's heroes love their women! They are fiercely protective and will do anything necessary to keep them safe. Love Thy Enemy is full of action, suspense and romance. Great storyline, intriqing characters, I couldn't put it down!
